Movie in the Pink
The community is invited to experience, for the first time, a movie in Grayson Stadium. Not from the stands, but from the field. Bring a blanket, bring a friend, bring your PINK and your support for Breast Cancer awareness and Survivors.

As a little kid watching your older brother or sister’s baseball game, standing hands clinched to the fence, growing up attending high school games sitting on the top row of the bleacher, attending the major league baseball games with thousands in the stands or even getting the call from the coach to step out on the field under the lights is nothing short of nostalgic. Our children experience this when the Savannah Bananas invite them to run the bases between the innings, when the players take the field or when the first pitch is thrown. The energy of the historic stadium, where Babe Ruth once played, is contagious.
This October we are celebrating survivors and generating awareness for Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Reconstruction options. We are inviting the community to spend the evening under the nostalgic lights, on the field of memories at Grayson Stadium and wrapping the energy around one theme.
With #STRONGERTOGETHER, we are here to show our support. Cancer does not have to be a solo fight. When you feel weak, turning to the support around you can keep you moving forward. Awareness is crucial in the battle against cancer. Please bring a friend, family member or survivor.
VOTE FOR THE MOVIE OF THE NIGHT
Saturday October 1, 2016, the gates will be open, the bleachers will be closed off and fences to the field will be unlocked to host the First Survivor Charitable Kickball Tournament. Directly following the tournament, the lights will be dimmed and the big screen turned on to play a community selected feature film. In classic drive-in theater form, as a community and with our families we are bringing Grayson stadium to life one more time this year. Bring your blanket, bring your little ones, bring your support and join us to support Breast Cancer awareness and Breast Cancer Reconstruction.

Concession stands will be open, refreshments served and we hope to see all things PINK. Come early for pictures, autographs and the perfect spot on the field.

Please take a minute to vote on the movie of your choice or offer a different title selection. This is a family friendly event. No scary movies, no movies about baseball, nothing that is considered inappropriate for the youngsters.
