Pink on the Court

The PINK on the Court event started as a single location, single event, small novelty idea, tied to a passion held by a member of the #TurnItPink Family. However, once the tennis community was presented with the idea of a tennis tournament to bring awareness to breast cancer and reconstructive options, the interest quickly grew and several clubs are hosting this event.

Wednesday October 9, 2019 The Savannah Country Club  will host a round robin style tennis tournament stretching from Wilmington Island to Savannah. Together the club pros are raising awareness, showing support and raising funds for this worthy cause. #TurnItPink will use the funds raised to empower women with the knowledge and ability to make the best decision for themselves by hosting local events and supporting local and national educational initiatives in partnership with the BRA Foundation.  Additionally, #TurnItPink will provide reconstructive services to qualified patients without financial resources. #STRONGERTOGETHER

All players play each other and are ranked most wins to least or best to worst. At which point you can have #1 play #4 and #2 play #3 with the winners playing for the title or championship. You will be judged on your PINK, lack of PINK and your support.

If several players are participating, for example: 32, broken down to 4 sections of 8 where the 8 play each other in one match. The matches are ranked top to bottom but now only the top one from each group advances. Winner of group 1 takes on winner of group 2 and winner of group 3 plays winner of group 4. The final top two player will play in the final match.

Tennis has never been more fun.. or more PINK! Everyone is encouraged to put on their best pink
tennis gear! Of course, will be playing with pink tennis balls, too. Grab your racket, choose
your favorite club, and get ready to #TurnItPink. Love may mean nothing in tennis, but it’s
everything when supporting a great cause!

All venues: $25 per person. Includes #TurnItPink tshirt  or tank and bottled water.
